I have heard of online schools offering and Associate in Nursing degree. It’s where you can complete you in-class work online but do your clinicals at a nearby medical facility. I was just wondering if anyone knows about this or knows a school that does this. I can’t find it anywhere!!

I live in California and want a Nursing school that doesn’t require any prerequisites, all the ones online I found you have to be a nurse first then you could do online classes to get a higher degree.I don’t care if I have to attend classes in person but I don’t want to do the prerequisites because it would be 4 years at least because I work full time.

i’m considering taking some online classes or going to a local tech college to take nursing classes–it keeps asking me the specific subject i’m interested in and i’m just wanting to take the basics i’ll need to be able to work in a hospital or dr. office for now…so what would that be. please help me out! lol. oh yeah and any additional comments are more than welcome (about nursing or what not) THANKS BUNCHES !!!

The online classes will help to kick start my nursing career but most of them require you to be a LPN already somebody please help

i should get my bachelors degree by 2008…. however, i still don’t know if this is the field for me…. i would love to be a nurse or a nurse practitioner or something to do with the nurse field… i really need help…. should i just get this degree first and then go to nursing??? will some classes be transferred? and will i be in school for another 4 years to get my nursing degree??? ….please help…
thank you

I need to only take 9 credits spring semester next year, but I need 12 to be considered a full time student. So, I think I want to take a online class to make up for the difference. Does anyone know of a good college that has a big selection of online classes? I want to take an easy class that is somewhat interesting. I am a nursing major, but it doesn’t need to be science or health oriented.
Thanks!
I’m a junior, so I cannot take community college classes.
