I am going to nursing school (at age 56 of all things!) and have an office chair that I paid a lot for back in 2000. Yes, I know it is old now and needs to be replaced, but just can’t afford to do it. The height used to be adjustable but now it is down as far as it will go and will not raise up any higher. It is killling my shoulders to do homework at my desk because now the desk is too high because my chair is too low. Make sense I hope? Is there any way to fix this chair so it will be higher? I even thought of a platform to raise the whole chair up but it is just not feasible to do that. Does anyone have a remedy, I hope? And thanks for your help!

am in texas. too far to exchange but was a really good idea! maybe i need to look into the pillow thing.
