I would like to become an RN. I am wondering, with the high demand, are there are any programs to assist those willing to become nurses.

There are a lot of programs, depending on your location. I’m in nursing school right now and many hospitals will work with you, too. For instance, you agree to work for a certain hospital for 24 months and they pay off x% of your loans. Especially because of the high demand there are tons of programs out there, you just have to search for one that suits you (many are for a specific ethnicity, age group, etc.)
Even if you don’t find a grant now that works for you, once you get your RN a lot of hospitals will do like I said and create a contract where you work and they help pay off your loans.
Hope this helps and good luck!
